Scott Baxter inherited his love for flying from his father, who was a fixed wing pilot.  Scott learned of Paramotors, took lessons, and soloed his first flight in October 2004. He later furthered his training by becoming a USPPA instructor/tandem administrator and quality equipment importer. Scott shared his passion for flight with his best friend Steve Reed, and together they co-founded Midwest Parajet in Minooka, Illinois. Over the years, they have helped countless men and women earn their wings with the goal of keeping safety a number one priority. In 2021, with great honor, Scott joined a skilled group of pilots to form the flying demonstration paramotor team of Airythmia! The team performs at many air shows throughout the year.

Steve Reed is a true outdoor person. He has a passion for learning new things and teaching others. Once successful at many ground activities, he took to the sky! In 2011, he earned his Instructor rating from Eric Dufour and 2019 USPPA Instructor/Tandem Administrator from Chad Bastian. He and his best friend Scott Baxter co-founded Midwest Parajet in 2010, and began sharing their love of flying with students from around the United States. Steve and Scott are proud importers of Parajet motors and Bruce Goldsmith Design wings. Steve is a member of the skilled paramotor flying team, Airythmia.
